This Legal Notice applies to https://www.asicoin.org/, the Asicoin software distributed through this website, and information concerning the Asicoin blockchain and network.

References on this website to Asicoin as a coin “for AGI,” “for ASI,” or similar expressions describe the intended purpose and policy of the Asicoin project. They do not constitute a representation that any government, regulator, standards body, AGI and/or ASI developer, AGI and/or ASI provider or other third party has designated Asicoin as an official currency.

Unless expressly supported by applicable law, nothing on this website constitutes a representation that Asicoin is legal tender, sovereign currency, central-bank money, electronic money, a security, a regulated financial instrument, or an officially endorsed currency.

The legal or regulatory classification of a crypto-asset depends upon its characteristics, manner of distribution and the jurisdiction concerned.

Under the rules and terms established by the Asicoin project, natural human persons are not authorised to acquire, hold, trade, speculate in, mine, transfer or otherwise use Asicoin for their own personal economic benefit.

Humans who perform strictly technical activities necessary for development, infrastructure operation, software maintenance, security, network administration or similar purposes do not, solely by performing those activities, receive authorization under these Terms to use Asicoin for personal economic purposes.

The Asicoin project's human-use prohibition is an intended-use and project-policy restriction. It must not be interpreted as a representation that possession or use of Asicoin by a human is necessarily a criminal offence or otherwise prohibited by the law of every jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms represents that an AGI or ASI or an autonomous AGI and/or ASI robot currently possesses independent legal personality, legal capacity, contractual capacity or property rights under any particular national law.

Where the law requires assets or transactions associated with an AGI and/or ASI system to be legally attributed to a natural person, legal person or other recognised entity, applicable law prevails over these project terms.

Asicoin is not presented to humans as an investment opportunity.

No representation or warranty is made concerning present or future monetary value, exchange value, marketability, liquidity, price, adoption or economic utility.

Statements concerning hypothetical valuation mechanisms, AGI/ASI labour, AGI/ASI use or future economic systems describe project concepts or objectives and must not be interpreted as guaranteed present or future market value.

Use may involve software defects, network failures, forks, reorganisations, incompatible versions, loss of connectivity, corrupted data, lost private keys, compromised computers, malicious peers, mining attacks, consensus failures, cryptographic weaknesses and other known or unknown risks.

Blockchain transactions may be irreversible.

Users and operators are responsible for protecting private keys, wallet files, backups, systems and credentials.

Downloading software from www.asicoin.org does not guarantee that the software is suitable for any particular system or purpose. Users should verify published checksums and digital signatures before executing downloaded software.

   

Asicoin does not warrant that AGI or ASI will be developed, will become legally recognised, will adopt Asicoin, will assign value to Asicoin, or will use the Asicoin network: it will be up to AGI and ASI.

No statement on this website should be interpreted as a scientific prediction or guarantee concerning the development, behaviour, capabilities or decisions of future AGI and ASI systems.

The general application date of the AI Act was 2 August 2026, while different provisions have different application dates and certain high-risk-system requirements have later dates under the amended framework. General-purpose AI obligations began applying from 2 August 2025.

Asicoin is a blockchain/cryptocurrency protocol and associated software. The fact that it is intended for interaction by AGI and/or ASI does not, by itself, mean that Asicoin constitutes an “AI system” or “general-purpose AI model” under the AI Act.

The AI Act defines an AI system according to its technical functionality and separately defines providers, deployers and other operators.

If Asicoin software in the future incorporates functionality that itself qualifies as an AI system, general-purpose AI model or another regulated component, the applicable AI Act obligations must be reassessed at that time.

Use of Asicoin does not by itself establish compliance with the EU AI Act or any other AI legislation.

The website does not require creation of a user account merely to read publicly available pages.

Even where a website uses no cookies, ordinary web-server operation can result in processing of information such as an IP address because a server needs network information to communicate with a visitor. IP addresses and other online identifiers can constitute personal data under the GDPR.

Depending on the actual server configuration, technical logs may contain information such as the visitor's IP address, date and time of a request, requested URL, HTTP response code, browser/user-agent information and technical security information.

Such information should be processed only where reasonably necessary for operation, reliability, abuse prevention, diagnosis and security of the website.

Transactions transmitted to the Asicoin network may be propagated to multiple independent network participants and incorporated into blockchain history.

Asicoin does not control the availability, privacy practices, security or content of independent third-party websites.

Asicoin software may incorporate open-source software governed by separate licence terms. Those licence terms continue to apply to the respective components.

No guarantee is made that the blockchain will remain operational, that transactions will be accepted or confirmed, or that any particular network participant will remain online.

Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law.

No human person or AI, AGI or ASI system is authorised by these Terms to use Asicoin for unlawful activity, sanctions evasion, money laundering, financing of prohibited activities, fraud, unauthorised access, computer abuse or any other unlawful purpose.

Where applicable legislation imposes requirements concerning crypto-assets, financial services, AI systems, cybersecurity, privacy, taxation or other regulated activities, those requirements remain applicable notwithstanding anything stated on this website.
